Zacary Patisserie opens in Adelaide Arcade

Attention sweet tooth's - the newest patisserie in town has opened their doors, and delicious treats are awaiting you at Zacary's Patisserie.

With a name that aptly translates to 'sugar' in Greek, Zacary's creations are pieces of art that look almost too good to eat (note: almost). A former contestant on Zumbo's Just Desserts, Zak's passion for the sweeter things in life has resulted in the creation of vibrantly unique cakes that will surely be cause for celebration.

Discover inventively artistic entremet cakes, decorated with every hue of the rainbow, or enjoy a part of Zak's heritage in the form of Greek sweet treats. You can even try a blend of both these elements, with the 'Chocopolis' dessert - an homage to the Acropolis, it consists of double choc mousse, vanilla cremeux, coffee caramel ganache, and hazelnut sponge​​​. Or if a traditional approach is more your style, devour options like Kourabiedes, a moreish almond biscuit drowning in icing sugar, or Galaktoboureko, the Greek's version of vanilla slice.

The patisserie opens as part of a Renew Adelaide initiative, within Adelaide Arcade. Take a seat at one of the tables, and enjoy a freshly brewed coffee or panini as you try and decide which treat you will have for dessert (easier said than done). Peer through the enormous glass window into the kitchen, where you'll be able to watch Zak's incredibly intricate cake-making skills in action. Zak's welcoming environment is the perfect spot for an overdue catch-up, a mid-week treat, or a quick morning coffee dash. No matter what the occasion, we know that it will be impossible to resist picking up a treat (or two!).

Zacary Patisserie is now open at Shop 19, Adelaide Arcade. Opening hours from Wednesday - Friday are 8am - 4pm, Saturday 9am - 3pm, and Sunday 10am - 3pm.
