Expect it all in Rundle Mall this Christmas

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas in Rundle Mall, the heart of the festive season in Adelaide.

There’s so much to explore in the Mall throughout December in between visits to your favourite stores to tick off your Christmas list. From the all-important visit to see Santa, to the wonderful sights and sounds of Christmas, we’ve compiled a handy list of what’s on in the Mall throughout December – make sure you check it twice!

Visits to Santa

Every day until Christmas you can visit Santa in Rundle Mall in the Magic Cave in David Jones, or Santaland in Myer. This year Santa is making sure he practices social distancing to ensure everyone stays safe while visiting the Mall.

The Sounds of Christmas

It’s just not Christmas without Carols! You’ll be treated to some festive tunes throughout the Mall while you shop – singing along is encouraged! Live carols will be performed by the Australian Girls Choir, as well as some festive performances by Star Academy.

Make sure to visit David Jones, where you’ll be treated to The David Jones Grand Piano. Be sure to check the times below to make sure you don’t miss out.

A Special Gift

If you’re still searching for the perfect gift, don’t miss some of the special pop-ups around the Mall where you can grab something unique for that special someone.

For her, on Friday the 11th of December David Jones will be offering bespoke engraving on Jo Malone so you can buy a perfume or candle with a stunning engraving of her initials or name. For the chocolate-lovers, Myer will be customising Toblerone bars in-store. If all of this talk of chocolate makes you peckish don’t forget to visit the Kyton’s Bakery pop up outside OPSM on the 22nd and 23rd of December, or grab a Golden North ice cream on Stephen’s Place on selected days.
