FruChocs, frog cakes and festival vibes
Adelaide's best local artists have given the Rundle Mall planters a bright makeover, with shopping, South Australian icons, animals and festivals serving as key inspiration. Artists including Ella Simpson, James Smith, Elle Dawson-Scott and Dave Court (who designed the 2020 Fringe Festival poster) were given free reign to unleash their creativity on the planters, which can be found scattered throughout the length of the Mall.
When I think of Adelaide, I think of Rundle Mall - the heart of the city. The memories of shopping in the Mall with my children and now grandchildren to me was inspiration enough.
