A new era for an iconic retailer
From Wednesday 20 April, Australia's leading bookseller, Dymocks, will call the opulent surrounds of the Regent Theatre in Rundle Mall home. Occupying 1000sqm of floor space after a $1.5 million fit-out, the new Dymocks store will become South Australia's largest bookstore, stocking over 25,000 titles and an extensive range of gifts and stationery.
Conscious to retain the historic character of Regent Theatre, the store's design pays homage to the site's cultural significance by maintaining the original intricate wall and ceiling arabesque decorations, along with 10 fully-restored pieces of theatre furniture.
Continuing its 30 year history in Rundle Mall, the new store spans across the entire first floor above Regent Arcade, creating a unique experience tailored to bibliophiles and those looking to enjoy the reinvention of a Rundle Mall landmark.

Be one of the first to experience the new Dymocks store, choosing from one the state's largest selections of books, gifts, stationery, games and puzzles. The first 100 customers will each receive a keepsake golden bookmark to mark the occasion, as well as going in to the draw to win a year's supply of books, valued at $1,750.
