All black pots collected by LUSH are sent to TerraCycle, a world leader in recycling hard-to-recycle waste.

Drop your bag of unwanted clothing in the recycling box at the H&M store in Rundle Mall. All textiles are welcome – any brand, any condition – even odd socks, worn-out T-shirts and old sheets. The textiles are then sent to the nearest recycling plant, where they’re sorted by hand.

Good news - you can drop off your recyclable plastic bags and a wide range of other soft plastic packaging to the REDcycle recycling bins inside the Coles store in Rundle place.

Since the program began in 2011, Coles has diverted more than 542 million pieces of flexible plastic, or 2.1 million kg, from landfill across Australia. Instead, the plastic is recycled and converted into new products, including outdoor furniture.c

CIBO are doing their part to be more sustainable, not only will you receive 50 bonus points for using your keep cup, if you happen to forget and need to use a disposable coffee cup, don't stress - at CIBO, when you drop off your reusable cup into their bin, they'll use it to produce their rCup, as part of their Simply Cups upcycling program. They also create curbing and street furniture.

Take advantage of their in-store recycling program, L'OCCITANE encourage their customers to recycle their empty containers and packaging of their products, but they also accept other beauty brands as well! Plus, you'll receive a 10% discount on a similar replacement product at the time of recycling. L'OCCITANE have a strong partnership with Terracycle and so products they recycle with Terracycle don't become landfill.

When you're in-store take a look at their refillable products, including shower gels, liquid soaps and hair care ranges. Their refill packaging uses 69-90% less plastic compared to the bottles, so keep your containers safe and purchase a refill on your next visit.
