Cancer Council

Daffodil Day is Cancer Council’s most iconic and recognised annual campaign. Every purchase of daffodils funds vital cancer research, with every dollar raised helping Cancer Council SA continue to fund South Australia’s brightest and best cancer researchers.

For Daffodil Day 2024, Cancer Council SA popped up for 2 days at their flagship site in Rundle Mall under the Gawler Place Canopy. From fresh bunches of daffodils to daffodil merchandise, donors were able to join in the fundraising effort to help reduce the impact and rate of cancer. The vibrant daffodils bought the theme of Industrial Chic to life this year, featuring a striking combination of timber and black elements, complimented by the softness of linen signage.

This year, South Australians were also invited to discover the Tree of Hope, where they could add a daffodil dedication in support of loved ones impacted by cancer.

The team were thrilled to be able to raise more than $19,000 over the two days.

For all that cancer takes, give hope on Daffodil Day.

We chose Rundle Mall as our flagship activation for our Daffodil Day Campaign due to its strong public appeal and ability to interact with a broad audience. With its high foot traffic and central location, it serves as the perfect setting to maximize engagement and raise awareness.

Rundle Mall not only boosts Cancer Councils visibility in the public but also allows us to share our commitment to a cancer-free future in a vibrant, community-driven space. We’re already looking forward to next year’s activations and continuing to build our brand awareness through this activation.
