Safety Reminders

We want to take this opportunity to remind all businesses about safety and hygiene practices as we approach the key Christmas shopping period.

In order to ensure that our community are confident that the Rundle Mall Precinct is continuing to create a safe environment for people to shop and work, here are some of our top tips for keeping COVID-19 safe:

  • Ensure hygiene tools such as hand sanitiser are available throughout your business, including entrances, service desks and food courts
  • Regular cleaning routines throughout your premises
  • Encourage social distancing, including safety signage reminders to stay 1.5m apart
  • Follow business and store density requirements and display your capacity on your window or door
  • Encourage customers to use cashless payment options where possible
  • Check in with employees on their well-being and ensure employees are properly trained, have access to relevant information and personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Foster open communication between businesses, centre management and Rundle Mall Management Authority

We will continue to focus on providing increased cleaning and security resources that are dedicated to ensuring the Mall remains a clean and safe environment for everyone, along with additional and refreshed signage to remind customers to practice social distancing and good hygiene.
