THE INAUGURAL VOGUE FESTIVAL IS INVIGORATING ADELAIDE'S FASHION SCENE IN SIGNATURE STYLE WITH RUNWAY SHOWS, PRIZES, GIVEAWAYS, EVENTS AND MORE IN RUNDLE MALL AND RUNDLE STREET.
Adelaide will welcome an exciting new two-day event this year, Vogue Festival, which is presented by Vogue Australia in partnership with Rundle Mall, Adelaide Fashion Festival, and the City of Adelaide.
Vogue Festival will be held in Rundle Mall and Rundle Street on Friday 13 October and Saturday 14 October. Similar to the popular Vogue American Express Fashion's Night Out events held each year in Sydney and Melbourne, the 2017 Vogue Festival will be a fantastic showcase of fashion and entertainment in the heart of Adelaide.
The city will host an exciting array of festival events, including a VIP launch hosted by Vogue Australia editor-in-chief Edwina McCann, styled runways, exciting activations and VIP shopping promotions and discounts plus there will be amazing prizes to be won.
LETTER FROM THE EDITOR
There’s nothing we love more at Vogue Australia than seeing budding fashion talent flourish, and nowhere is this better exemplified than Adelaide Fashion Festival. Not only is the event itself a
rapidly rising star on the fashion scene, having taken great strides since its 2008 debut, but it also serves as a proud platform for some of the most exciting designers – emerging and established alike – in Australia today.
So I am delighted to be part of the inaugural Vogue Festival, presented by Rundle Mall and Adelaide Fashion Festival in association with the City of Adelaide, which will take place in the heart of the city on October 13 and 14 to coincide with Adelaide Fashion Festival, which runs from October 11 to 15.
This booklet is your guide to Adelaide Fashion Festival and Vogue Festival, with details about runway events, profiles of some of the talented designers and creators who will be featured, and a look at some of the diverse attractions South Australia and its capital have to offer. My team and I are looking forward to launching Vogue Festival in Rundle Mall and taking part in the events,
masterclasses, exhibitions and shows on the calendar, and we’d love you to join us.
Mark it in your calendar – you don’t want to miss being part of Adelaide Fashion Festival and the first Vogue Festival!
