Woman having her make up done

Beauty with Dale Dorning

Winter is Dale's favourite season with layered clothing, statement jackets, boots and beanies. This is where make up can steal the show, adding that metallic flash of colours to lips and eyes!

Nontour

This look is about adding light to skin by mixing liquid illuminator into your foundation. By doing so you’ll pick up all the facial high points, providing light and lift. Watch how the natural shadow around the edges of your face deepen, giving you a sculpted, wearable and buildable make-up look.

Loud Mouth

Swipe on some lip colour before applying foundation. After applying lipstick and liner, add a metallic powder to the centre of the mouth using your finger. This trick adds dimension and extra allure to your pout.

Eyes on the prize

Smoky eyes are all about adding metallics. Map your eyes with taupes and browns in matte hues, then blend into and above the crease. Paint metallic glitters onto the lid starting in the middle, blending out and in. Curl lashes, apply mascara, and add false lashes.

Pro tips

Apply your lip liner after lipstick to keep you in the lines and give better definition. Always make up eyes before foundation application so whatever drops onto cheeks can be easily removed
