Australia Day


This Australia Day, locals and tourists alike are invited to celebrate in Rundle Mall.

We're open from 11 am to 5 pm this Friday 26 January with free entertainment throughout the day.

Heading to the cricket on Australia Day? Why not pop into the Mall on your way to Adelaide Oval!

Here's what you need to know:

Golden North - popping up at Stephen's Place to host an ice cream eating challenge! You will also be able to purchase delicious ice cream (perfect for a warm summers day!)

Moonlight Cinema - popping up at Stephen's Place also, they will be giving away free popcorn & hosting an array of competitions & free giveaways.

Lipton's Ice Tea - will be activating under the Gawler Place Canopy handing out FREE ice tea samples.

Car Parking

UPark on Wyatt Street - enter via Grenfell Street

Open from 6:30 am to midnight - $8 flat fee

UPark on Rundle Street - enter via Rundle Street

Open 24 hours - $8 flat fee

UPark on Gawler Place - enter via North Terrace and Gawler Place

Open from 8 am to 6 pm - $8 flat fee

(*Please note - stays under 60 minutes free don't apply on public holidays. In addition, Upark at Pirie, Flinders and Topham are offering $8 flat fee - see www.upark.com.au for more details)

Secure Parking Rundle Place Car Park - enter via Grenfell Street (traffic driving easterly direction only)

Open 6 am to 10 pm -  Normal fees apply

The Myer Centre Car Park - enter via North Terrace (traffic driving westerly direction only) and then Stephens Place

Open 10 am to 5:30 pm - Enter before 11:30am – pay $15 for early bird rate*

*Terms & conditions and quotas apply.

Customers must park on Car Park Levels 4,3 or 2 and drive past the early bird licence plate recognition camera (on Car Park Level 2) to be eligible for the Early Bird rates

Wilson Adelaide Central Plaza Car Park - enter via North Terrace

Open 24 hours - parking capped at $20

Public Transport

Public transport services will be operating a normal timetable - with exception to the Australia Day parade, the One Day cricket and CBD road closures (read more).
