Hindmarsh Square, Kids Interactive Playspace
Blackebys Sweet Shop in James Place, just off Rundle Mall
There are so many places for kids to explore in Rundle Mall.
Blackebys Sweets in James Place has South Australia's largest range of confectionery. Everything from hard boiled lollies to Hersheys Kisses. Make sure you get a photo taken in front of this amazingly bright and colourful store. It is an Adelaide icon. So, too, is Haigh's Chocolates where kids can get their hands on a delicious chocolate frog.
Every kid loves a toy store and Rundle Mall is home to Toyworld in The Myer Centre - providing children and their parents with an amazing, fun world of toys, games and childrens' products to choose from.
The Interactive Playspace in Hindmarsh Square features interactive pieces of art work consisting of over-sized items from the average backyard – a dog’s bone, peg, fish, ball, thong, tap and hose, as well as giant blades of grass.
Every child visiting the Mall must have a photo taken with the four resident bronze pigs. Truffles, Oliver, Horatio and Augusta love to have visitors.
